This year has flown by and has been so much fun. Since I am obviously not very good at updating this blog I will highlight the year. I am going to shoot for my New Years Resolution to be updating this thing at least once a month. I think that is a do-able goal.
Halloween was a blast! Brynna was Tinkerbell and so was I. Jamin was of course Peterpan. We went to my schools carnival as well as trick-or-treating around our house. I also had my annual chili dinner with some family and friends. I used the veges out of my garden to make the best chili. I still have loads in my freezer, yum!
Thanksgiving was a little different this year. It was pretty low key. Usually we have tons of family we are with but it was just us this year. Well, I mean us as in, My mom and Wayne, Con, Lins, Ash, Jamin, Brynna and me. We ate at my mom's house and it was great. Of course we missed having everyone else around. :)
This month has flown by! We have done so much, lets see from the beginning. Well I started my shopping on Black Friday with mom. I was astonished that I actually got most of my shopping done that day. It was a lot of fun shopping with my mom. ; )
Later in the month we went to Colonial Square in Bountiful to see Santa and walk around and get into the Christmas Spirit. Brynna was not very excited to see Santa that day. I ended up having to go back to the mall to get a decent picture with Santa a few days before Christmas. She was much better that day after he gave her a candy cane.
Christmas Eve was great. We were at mom's as usual. Grama and Grampa Miller came for Christmas this year so that was special. All the usuals showed up and we ate and of course opened our jammies. Brynna opened a few gifts from people too.
I was so excited for Brynna to open her presents on Christmas morning. Santa brought her a stroller, crib and new doll. She LOVES them. She is actually playing with her toys everyday, which makes me so happy. She also got a Weebles Treehouse, clothes, some games, a car she can ride in, and her very own recliner for the basement from Nana and Grampa. Jamin and I got a huge Christmas present this year. We finally fishished our basement. We got new carpet, leather couches, a big flatscreen tv and tables. We are really happy how it turned out. : )
Well that was a year in a nut shell. The best part of the year is having Brynna around. We are so grateful for her. She is amazing and I can't imagine my life without her. She really has grown up into this darling little toddler in just the last month. She seems older everyday. She is very petite but fairly tall. Her hair is white, but thick and she lets me curl it which I love. She has great big blue eyes and looks just like Jamin. I think and hope she is looking a little more like me.
